Communication training for teams based on the PACS 4-colour test

Why does a message land immediately with one colleague, whilst another reacts in a completely different way? Why does feedback escalate in one team, whilst it makes another stronger?

The answer lies in communication style and everyone's is different.

In this communication training, you'll discover through the PACS 4-colour test how each team member communicates, what he or she needs, and how you can concretely improve collaboration within your team. No theory without application, just immediately actionable insights that make a real difference in the workplace.

Discover the four PACS colours

This training is built around three pillars: self-awareness, getting to know your colleagues better, and connecting communication. Each participant completes the PACS 4-colour test in advance and receives a personal colour profile. That profile forms the starting point of the training.

Part 1: Insight into communication styles

You'll learn to recognise and understand the four colour profiles:

  • Red: direct, assertive, and results-driven. Wants to get to the point quickly.
  • Yellow: enthusiastic, creative, and connecting. Thinks in possibilities and energy.
  • Blue: analytical, precise, and structured. Wants facts and substantiation.
  • Green: reliable, cooperative, and supportive. Seeks harmony and stability.

You'll discover which colour dominates in you, how you come across to others, and how to recognise the communication style of colleagues and clients in e-mails, meetings, and one-to-one conversations. We then place all team profiles side by side and translate the insights into your day-to-day work situations.

Communication that connects

In the second part, you'll get actively to work. Through realistic role plays, you'll practise:

  • Giving and receiving feedback in a way that lands
  • Holding difficult conversations without them escalating
  • Making agreements that are clear for every communication type
  • Adapting your own style to the person in front of you

The result: less miscommunication, less noise, and a team that deals with each other's differences consciously and respectfully.

Who is this communication training for?

This training is designed for teams and organisations that want to improve communication and collaboration. Not through a theoretical framework, but through directly applicable insights based on personality profiles.

Why the PACS 4-colour test as a foundation?

There are many communication trainings. What makes this one different is that it starts from a well-founded personality profile, not from generalities.

The PACS 4-colour test is based on the theory of Carl Gustav Jung and works with 15 nuanced colour profiles. This provides a more precise picture of how someone communicates, what he or she needs, and where blind spots lie.

Advantages over other colour tests:

  • Immediate result: report delivered by e-mail directly after completion
  • 15 profiles instead of 4, making it more nuanced and recognisable
  • Concrete communication tips per profile that are directly applicable
  • No accreditation required, low-threshold and cost-efficient
  • 87% reliability score on the instrument
  • GDPR-compliant and available in 10 languages

Familiar with DISC or Insights Discovery? Many professionals who have experience with these tools strongly recognise their results in the PACS profile. The Jungian foundation is the same. PACS makes those insights more accessible and more affordable. Read our comparison of DISC, Insights Discovery and PACS.
